Men Who Cry
by
Carol V. Michael

Some people think women cry,
at the drop of a hat,
over everything and nothing,
they wonder why.

Shredding kleenex, dabbing eyes.
All the while,
men should know,
why they cry.

What I know, is men cry,
a thousand tears,
dry and wet, alone at night,
when they think,
no one sees.

I see, I know, and I am touched
by men that cry or want to cry,
but try to be strong,
for the women they love,
who need to cry.
