                                         Can Poetry Matter?

I think we have our answer.

So, here's the deal; let's form a syndicate, make some dinero. I'm cutting you in as a limited partner. Your end is recruitment of your poet friends. That red haired guy from Long Beach, Charles, and maybe that snooty filcher Collins, he could be having hard times, happens to the best of us, especially to degenerate followers of the ponies. And don't forget those flannel shirt broads that yell their verse, they're a natural.

I've already got the venues scopes out and of course you get first choice, it's one of the perks of being a limited partner; Old Town Pasadena Gold Line Station, Union Station Downtown and Hollywood and Vine Red Line Station are perfect, out of the elements, dry and sort of warm. You may want to skip the latter as you may encounter old acquaintances from your more adventurous days, could be an embarrassment.

I'm thinking we start with 12 hour shifts, at least until we (meaning you guys) build clientele. I'll handle the money end, think of me as Fagan or Tony Soprano. You handle the talent, creative dispositions are not my forte.

I'm thinking Old Town Pasadena is perfect for you, you catch the train near your house and you are on the job in 10 minutes. Long Beach Charles can take the Blue Line to Union Station, that's a snap. Leave Hollywood and Vine to the flannel shirt gals, they will be amongst their tribe.
Can I count on you?
