Tower
of Babel
Nathan
B. Spooner
Didn’t I meet you
at the tower of
Babel
You were working on a language to
control all the rabble.
Didn’t I see you on the Plain of
Shinar,
And now we’ve had to travel so
far.
Now we do have a
language with a
binary basis
So don’t even try to get away from
the oasis.
Yeah, and you can ignore the book
of revelation
Cause you may not know about a
soul’s salvation.
It’s a cosmic deploy,
it’s a universal toy
We talking ‘bout more than the
girl and the boy.
And as for the changes that
manifest now
Don’t even bother to ask why or
how.
And with AI
creations coming into
the equation
Who’s gonna help us, yes who among
the Nations.
The robot machine is basically a
beast
And what’s that got to do with
primary yeast?
Something that
changes and
eventually grows
Something that feels and might
even glow.
Something that creates and
emotions may touch
Something the machine may never
dream up.
Oh, it can help us
in the assembly
line.
And will it replace us in the end
of times?
And now there is no end to what we
might do
And the words there to read, oh
yeah, they’re true.
Now you may not
feel the cosmic
vibration
Maybe you’re too busy going on
vacation.
Just remember the elements out
there that create us
We don’t always see that stuff and
all the dust.
And as for the
tower of Babel on
the plain of Shinar
Let’s ask ourselves who we really
are.
