 Husky

He had big black paws.

He always ran away in the night.

His teeth were white and sharp.

Omar named him Husky.

He pulled the sled in the snow

and pulled his bike in the summer.

Once Husky dragged home moose bones

and he even chased a bear.

We left him with friends

In Alaska, near the glacer

where he could howl at night.

California would be

too small for Hucky.
