| Wholly Foods 1973 You greet us with fifty pound containers filled with crunchy and/or smooth peanut butter. Five gallon tubs of granola, half dozen varieties greet us midway through the store. Bela works there and smiles from the balcony.
You resemble something the Co-op tried to accomplish but lost track of. Fewer affluent persons wander about. In Wholly Foods we see robed people, baggy pants, wild frizzed hair, longer beards.
Not so many Sierra Club outfits with manufactured high tech tech stuff. More like grubby knapsacks and worn out boots that follow no prearranged hiking pattern into the approved wilderness trail.
Wholly Foods how long can you keep up the atmosphere that lets us on the street feel almost at home?
