Willson's Journal

Thomas McDonald, Ed.

A space probe from a universe (not ours) records transmissions from yet another universe (also not ours) of a journal kept by a man named Willson. The journal is of travels through a land (geography like the USA) of Willson while he makes his way from the Capitol down through the South to LoneStar, and then across the Southwest to the West Coast.  He stops in Libraries to update his journal. Willson meets others who have their own stories throughout the journey. Most of the story is at The Coast.  There are flashbacks to youth with Pal and of his time at war.  Some adventures might be dreams. Willson hopes to reunite with his first love, Pal.  Willson meets interesting people, none more than Reuben, which leads to more adventures. Willson visits his Uncle, who is writing his own book, Barmaids Revisited. Willson finds his life’s work  and a house.  The house library has the Professors’ Notebook, another source for plot lines. At the end he sees Pal, but is this real?
